If you are interested in quality of the
theater, you must learn history of a particular theater. However,
what is a real birth of a theater? It happens when an artistic
mind understands what is its real purpose and launches a company
what with years will morph and evolve, but all of these metamorphoses
will be caused by original creator.
In 1988 Nataliya merged forces with Mikhail Khusid (director),
her ex-student Alexander Zabolotniy (actor), and Nikolay Yakimov
(sound) and created a theater MLP - Museum of Living Puppets.
They opened MLP with an adaptation of story of doctor Faust for
children. Wonderful, poetic, was suitable for children of any
age. Astonishing, scrupulous work with puppets rend heavy oak
marionettes gracious and gracious. Puppets lighted real candles
and performed real chemical experiments on stage. That in combination
with wonderful life music created unforgettable, enriching and
marvelous experience for both adults and children.
They created a few more shows but soon great interest in personal
projects pulled the group apart.
In 1991 Nataliya and Mikhail Khusid hire Vladimir Kuznetsov (actor)
and create descendant of MLP - Soup Bubble Tales. New concept
was for the beautiful marionettes to become a troupe of actors
able to perform different fairy tales. Their original Cinderella
has now been winning multiple prizes on festivals internationally,
but most importantly it gave smiles to thousands of children for
more when 11 years.
Another Soup Bubble Tale was Nutcracker, where the marionettes
performed a ballet on stage.
Seven years ago Natasha came to America with marionette troupe
of Soup Bubbles Tales. They joined forces with Puppet Art group
in Detroit.
Today Nataliya is on her own again. Soup Bubble Tales is now CarOvan
Puppets. Today they are on the road trying to bring happiness
to every part of America and the World.
